Jignesh Shah, MD

Dr. Jignesh P. Shah is a board-certified gastroenterologist and internal medicine physician with a strong commitment to providing advanced gastrointestinal care. He earned his medical degree from Pramukh Swami Medical College in India and completed his residency in internal medicine and pediatrics. Dr. Shah further specialized by completing a fellowship in gastroenterology, hepatology, and nutrition at the University of Louisville in Kentucky, where he was honored for his excellence and served as chief resident.

A former president of the Harris County Medical Society, Dr. Shah remains actively involved in various professional medical societies. He is known for his compassionate, patient-centered approach and clinical excellence. His areas of expertise include colorectal cancer screening and treatment, heartburn, acid reflux, esophageal disorders, peptic ulcers, gallbladder disorders, liver diseases, inflammatory bowel diseases, and more.
